Now you can choose whether you want to pay before or after using the services. All other things for prepaid Bite Card and Bite Subscription are absolutely identical!
We treat things in a simple way!
- Prepaid and postpaid rates are the same.
- Not to confuse you. And whichever you choose – prepaid Bite Card or Bite Subscription, you can choose one of the 3 simple and well thought-out tariff plans. What does “well thought-out” mean? Our tariff plans have not appeared out of the blue, but have grown from real and careful research of habits of real people.
BITE 3.5 – if you just want to call and text with no worries about which network you are calling this tariff plan will be the best for you.
This tariff plan includes everything you might need: possibility to call and send SMS messages to all networks in Latvia, as well 50 MB for the internet usage, for example, for reading news or checking email in your mobile phone.
For fixed monthly fee - 3.50 Ls, you will get:
- 350 MIN to all networks in Latvia
- 100 SMS to all networks in Latvia
- 50 MB for internet
Don’t worry, if you exceed the minutes, SMS or MB included in the tariff plan, because 1 extra minute, 1 SMS or 1 MB will cost you only 3 santims.
Conditions:
- If you realize in the middle of the month that it is not enough with the chosen service or the rate plan, you can choose a larger one. If you are a Bite Card user, send an activation SMS message with a text BITE 8.5 to 1600 to activate BITE 8.5 plan. If you are a Bite subscriber, call 1601 or come to any Bite outlet. The new service will be applied immediately. You will be able to use full amount of the previous rate plan and the amount of the new plan that is proportional to the amount of the remaining days of the month.
- You can switch to a smaller plan as well. If you have a Bite Card, text the name of the tariff plan, e.g., BITE 1.5 to 1600. If you are a Bite subscriber, call 1601 or come to any Bite outlet, and you will be able to start using your new rate plan from the first day of the next month. Until then you will be using your previous rate plan with a larger amount of usable units so that you can fully enjoy the amount of services that you have already paid for.
- If you have Bite Card text STOP BITE 3.5 to 1600 to disable this tariff plan completely and to return to the Start rates.
- You can change your rate plan once per month and free of charge.
Remember, if you will change your mind and will want to return to previous offer, like BiFri with free calls for all your life or to rate plan Bite Let’s talk! it will not be possible any more.

- Then enter PIN code (indicated on your SIM card)

| Swedbank Swedbank customers can reload the prepaid Bite Card in several ways. The range of the possible reload sum is from 0.01 Ls to 30.00 Ls.
You can reload your BiFri or Bite Card by texting BIFRI and the reload sum to 1643. For example, BIFRI 1 or BIFRI#1. Between BIFRI and the sum there should be a space or #. Bite Card of another person can be reloaded at the internet banking system under Accounts, payments, cards/Mobile bank/ Prepaid cards. There you can register those numbers that you want to reload with an SMS message.
When you want to reload any of the registered Bite Cards or BiFri, text BIFRI, reload sum and the phone number that you want to top up. For example BIFRI 1 2XXXXXXX or BIFRI#1#2XXXXXXX. Between BIFRI or Bite Card amount and number there should be a space or #. SMS has to be sent to your mobile operator's number: Bite Subscription, BiFri or Bite Card-1643, Please remember!Within one day one user of Swedbank Mobile Bank can reload the prepaid card up to 5 times. |

The card values are the following: Ls 2, Ls 5 and Ls 10. Bite Card vouchers can be purchased in Bite outlets, IKI, Cento, Prisma, Narvesen, Preses Apvienība, Elvi, Mego, Latvijas LOTO, Plus Punkts points of sales and other stores where you see the Bite Card logo. How to reload the Card: 1. Enter (without spaces) *110*12345678123456# (where 12345678 is the reload card number and 123456 is the security code) and press the call button. The account will be reloaded in a few seconds.2. Legal information. Boring, but useful.
- All tariff plans are active from the 1st date of the month till the last date of it and they are prolonged to the next month automatically.
- The rate plans include minutes and SMS messages for communication to all networks of Latvia and the usage of internet in Latvia. The charge for calls and SMS messages to the premium number services as well as the charge for the international calls and roaming services will be calculated and added to the bill separately according to Bite price list.
- If you activate the service not on the first date of the month but, for example, in the middle of it, you will be charged only half, and will be able to use half of the full amount of the activated service. From the next month you will be able to use full amount of the service and you will pay full amount for this.
- If you are using any service you can totally forget about account validity periods. Account validity periods are in force only for accounts using default rates and no additional services.
- If your account balance is too low to prolong the ordered service, you will be switched to the default start rates.
What do you need to know if you want to change something in your prepaid Bite Card usage:
- If you realize in the middle of the month that it is not enough with the chosen service or the rate plan, you can choose a larger one. If you are a prepaid Bite Card user, send an activation SMS message with a name of the chosen tariff plan (e.g., BITE 8.5) to 1600. The new service will come into force immediately. You will be able to use full amount of the previous rate plan and the amount of the new plan that is proportional to the amount of the remaining days of the month.
- You can switch to a smaller plan with a smaller amount of minutes, SMS messages or MB as well. Text the name of the tariff plan, e.g., BITE 1.5 to 1600 and you will be able to start using your new rate plan from the first day of the next month. Until then you will be using your previous rate plan with a larger amount of usable units so that you can fully enjoy the amount of services that you have already paid for.
- You can change your rate plan once per month and free of charge.
What do you need to know about the balance:
- If you have a prepaid Bite Card, do not worry about any balance validity terms. Two days before prolongation of the services we will send you an SMS message reminding you to reload your card so that you can continue using your chosen services.
- If you do not use any tariff plan or additional service and do not reload your account during the additional time (when you can receive only calls and SMS messages), the service use will be totally blocked and the number will be erased from the system with no possibility to renew it.
- If there is no money on your account for prolongation of your tariff plan, it will be disabled and the Start tariffs will be activated. After reloading the account you will be able to continue using any rate plan of your choice.
- If you have activated several services and there is no money for prolonging all of them on your account, we have a simple rule for such cases: firstly we prolong the voice services (tariff plans, additional service Best Friends), afterward the SMS additional service is prolonged, and after that – internet additional service.
What do you need to know if you want to disconnect something:
- If you want to disable the tariff plan or an additional service, it will be applied as of the 1st date of the next month. Until then continue using the chosen services in full amount .
- If you decide that you do not want to use your additional services anymore, text STOP INTERNETS (for the internet additional service), STOP SMS (SMS additional service) or STOP DRAUGI (Best Friends additional service) to 1600 to disconnect them. The SMS messages are the same for prepaid Bite Card and for Bite Subscription.
- If you decide that you do not want to continue using your chosen rate plan, you can disable it by texting, e.g., STOP 3.5 to 1600. The rate plan will be disabled as of the next month!

With Bite Subscription you can:
- Activate Cost Control service to set the limit (1 Ls, for example) and you will get a free warning SMS when your balance will reach the limit or you can choose to block the outgoing services at all if you wish so;
- Protect yourself from surprises, that can arise from value added services - we will always ask you to confirm when service provider will want to take off money from your account; you can also completely block value added service usage by calling to 1601 or in any Bite outlet.
Ways how to pay your bill
- You can choose to receive bill by mail or email. We suggest electronic bill, because is more convenient as you always receive it by e-mail immediately. Just write us an email to info@bite.lv, if you would like to receive your bill by email.
- Using direct debit service - directly from your bank account. Of course the transferred amount will not exceed the limit you have set.
- Via internet – if you use internet-banking, this will be the most convenient and cheapest way to pay.
- You can also pay in cash - at branches of “Latvijas Pasts”, at cash registers at “Maxima” supermarkets, as well as at any bank in Latvia. To be frankly with you, extra fees may apply.
Important:
- You’ll need to provide your bill payment slip in order to make a payment.
- Payments made at a branch of “Latvijas Pasts” will be received by Bite in 5 working days.
- Make sure you have specified your customer’s number in the purpose of payment. We consider the bill paid when the money is received in our account.
- If you haven’t paid a bill in time and outgoing calls are suspended for you, you can speed up the process of reconnection by sending a payment slip by fax (+371 25850125), by calling 1601 (80001601) or by visiting a Bite outlet. Attention! This is only possible if you have 5 paid bills timely before.
- We would like to remind you that at Bite outlets payments are not accepted
