Bite Latvija – the other company - is changing the approach to the mobile communications market in Latvia, starting with having three simple and transparent rate plans that satisfy all of customer’s needs, plus making these plans available to all customers, regardless of whether they prefer using a prepaid card, or paying by invoice.
“The largest Latvian operators had been offering 170 different rate plans before, including ours. And that’s an impressive number. Having such a wide offer to choose from it is easy to get lost and end up choosing something which, in fact, is not necessary at all. After some calculations we have concluded that mobile communications users in Latvia are overspending a total of more than 26 million lats every year. This is the fee for rate plans which were chosen by mistake and for services that people are actually not using, but their operator keeps on charging them for everything. We listened to customers and decided to change this absurd situation and to offer our customers well thought-out rate plans that are easy to understand. Moreover, new rate plans will be available both for prepaid card users and postpaid customers. The price will no longer depend on when you pay – before or after you receive services”, explains Fred Hrenchuk, CEO of Bite Latvia.
New rate plans are created basing on customers’ needs and habits in using mobile communications. One rate plan includes unlimited calls and SMS within Bite network, two others – calls and SMS to all networks taking into account number of minutes for calls according to needs of a customer. Internet in phone is also included in all rate plans.
