How much does it cost?

With the prepaid mobile internet you have a choice whether to pay for time spent online or for the downloaded megabytes. Choose Mono or Stereo rate plan if you wish to download unlimited amount of information and to pay for time that you spend online. Or choose Taxi rate plan if time runs fast for you and if you prefer to pay for MB that you download

The rates

• You are charged for using mobile internet from the moment of connection to the internet till the moment of disconnection. 
• According to your chosen rate plan you will be charged either for downloaded MB or time that you spend keeping internet connected.
• Save your money, don’t forget to disconnect when you finish your work online!
• To activate the SIM card and start using the service, you will only need to connect to the internet.
• Vodafone Mobile Connect prepaid internet start kit by default is set to the Stereo rate plan, but you can change rate plan whenever you want at http://mansvmc.bite.lv(link is accessible only when connecting with Vodafone Mobile Connect modem). The first change of rate plan is free, then you will be charged 2,02 Ls.

To start using the prepaid mobile internet you will need to buy a kit – a SIM card and a modem. If you already have a modem, you will need o buy only a SIM card. The start kit will cost you only 19.90 Ls and it includes a modem providing the speed of up to 7.2 Mbps and 4.50 Ls for the internet use. If you need just a SIM card for using it with your modem or computer, you can buy it for only 6 Ls with a balance of 2 Ls. It is easy to reload the card. You can use your internet banking system or scratch cards that are available in stores all over Latvia as well as in all Bite outlets.

The same as you, we do not like such situations when we buy something and then we realize that the purchase doesn’t meet our expectations. Therefore we give you some time to decide whether our mobile internet is good for you and whether you like it. If you do not find it appropriate for you, at least you will not bear a grudge against us. However, we hope that everything will be ok.

Bonuses

You can reload your account by as much as you want. If you reload your account often, we will definitely notice that. The more you top up, the more bonuses will be available for you.

• Night hours are from 12 a.m. to 6 a.m.
• Weekends start at 12 a.m. on Friday and end at 12 a.m. on Monday.
• You can get your bonus according to the reload amount (see table) after reloading your account. Bonuses are not summed up.
• The maximum amount on your Vodafone Mobile Connect prepaid internet account is 1000 Ls.

No matter what is the balance  on your account, you can always access the self-service website http://mansvmc.bite.lv (the link is accessible only when connecting with Vodafone Mobile Connect modem). Here you can learn your balance and number of bonus nights or weekends when you can use internet for free.

Account and SIM card validity

The amount on the account of your start kit is valid for 3 months after its activation. If you don’t reload your account, after three months you will only have access to self-service website.

The account has to be reloaded not later than 6 months after its activation or last reload; otherwise your SIM card will be blocked.

The amount not used within the account validity time does not disappear – it will be added to the amount of your next reload.

About the speed

If you are in Riga, Jelgava, Liepaja, Ventspils, Daugavpils, Valmiera, Rezekne, Salaspils, Ogre or Jekabpils, you can enjoy a superfast Bite 3G internet.

But it doesn’t mean that in other places of Latvia Bite does not provide the mobile internet services. 3G is not the only technology, but we have to admit that others are more or less slower. But still practical and good! Please remember that the internet speed can be lower if you are far away from the base station, if the network is overloaded or your modem or device has incorrect settings.
