You can browse internet, send and receive e-mails, access the files stored on servers everywhere in Latvia where Bite network is available. For more convenience you can also use Vodafone Mobile Connect abroad.

- From March 11, 2010 data amount included in START rate plan is 1 GB.
Customers who connected START rate plan before March 11 will be using internet according to the previous data amount 800 MB till the end of this month; data amount included in the rate plan will be increased up to 1 GB from April 1. - You can connect START rate plan only upon purchasing a USB modem at a full price starting from 29 Ls.
- After exceeding the amount of data included in STANDARD or PRO rate plans, you can either pay for every additional megabyte, or use the service with limited data transfer speed. Call 1601 or visit any Bite outlet to make the choice.
- Rate plans cover data transfer only in Latvia. For using mobile internet abroad you will be additionally charged according to data transfer roaming tariffs.
- Prices are indicated in Lats including VAT 21%.
Modems
In order to use mobile internet you will need a computer and one of Vodafone USB-modems.
If there are several people who need to use mobile internet at the same time, you can get a HotSpot modem which ensures wireless network within the range of 30 m. That’s a great solution if you need wireless internet in the office, for short-term projects, at home or somewhere else.

How to start using it?
To start using mobile internet, please:
- connect your modem to the computer,
- install Vodafone Mobile Connect software which can be found in the modem,
- make the first connection to the internet.

Data transfer speed
Vodafone Mobile Connect mobile internet is available all across Latvia where Bite network is available. Maximum data transfer speed depends on several factors:
- whether you are within GPRS/EDGE or 3G/HSDPA coverage area Check the 3G/HSDPA and GPRS/EDGE coverage areas on our network map.
- network load at the time of connection. The lowest network load is in the nights, the highest is in the evenings.
- your modem.
Average data transfer speed within 3G/HSDPA area is 2.8 Mbps, but it can reach up to 7.2 Mbps. Data transfer speed within EDGE coverage reaches 236 Kbps.
