Every SIA Bite Latvija customer is entitled to include his or her mobile phone number and other private data in the public subscriber lists such as phone catalogues and data bases of the inquiry services.

A possibility to announce and use such data on the subscribers is stipulated by the decision No. 321 of the Public Utilities Commission from 23 December 2005 “On the liabilities regarding provision of general services of the limited liability company Lattelekom in 2006”. In accordance with this decision, data can be provided by the inquiry service 1188 and it can be published in the printed phone catalogues Rīga, Rīgas rajons un Jūrmala, Vidzeme, Zemgale, Kurzeme and Latgale.

If a Bite customer wants to provide his or her private data for the above mentioned purposes, he or she can fill in a special form in any Bite outlet or print out this form (PDF, 107 kB), fill it in, sign it, scan it and then send to forma@bite.lv or give to any Bite outlet consultant.

This application can be filled in only by the same person, who has signed a contract with SIA Bite Latvija. The customer applications are forwarded to SIA Lattelecom, a company being responsible for timely provision of correct data in the said catalogues.

The private data of customers is entered in the said data base after 10 days in an electronic form (for example, in the data base of the inquiry service 1188). Data in the printed phone catalogues are updated once per year.
