"Bite", MNP leader in 2009, starts successfully also this year

Data aggregated by "Datorikas institūts DIVI" ("DI DIVI") show that in January 2010 out of more than 9600 inhabitants of Latvia who chose to change their mobile operators, i.e., to port their numbers, 51% took a decision to come to the telecommunications company "Bite Latvija". "DI DIVI" data show that in general in 2009 numbers were ported by over 92 thousand of inhabitants of Latvia. Out of them 47% of users of mobile phones took a decision to port their numbers to "Bite", which means that the last year's MNP leader continues to show the best results also in 2010.
"We expect to have especially good MNP results in February, as currently we offer a rate plan which ensures not only free of charge calls within the network, but also provides the customers with a possibility to use a rate plan without a monthly fee. Besides, for those, who will port their numbers to "Bite" network until March 7, "Bite" ensures a possibility to receive Ls 0,01 bonus for each minute of an incoming call from other networks, thus helping people not only to decrease expenditure related to telecommunications services, but also to earn some additional money for calls.
Taking care of the customers' comfort "Bite" has introduced a new service: free of charge Direct Delivery service. Thanks to this service it is much easier to port the number and to acquire a new SIM card. It is possible to order the new SIM card by calling the toll-free number 80001601, and "Bite" SIM card will be delivered to the address specified by the customer anywhere all over Latvia free of charge.
